Jack Mintzer developed this project using an allocation of mortgage loans using FHA Section 235, which featured a low down payment and a low interest mortgage.  Following a carefully orchestrated grand opening, there were home buyers lined up all the way down the block.  All 72 homes were sold as quickly as the contracts could be written over the span of a couple of days.  Bruce took a gap year off of University to work with his dad on the project.  This experience left an impression on Bruce, as he learned how high the demand for affordable housing could be.
